An unofficial fan-made chat simulator. Verity's personality shifts the longer you talk — from friendly, to uncanny, to unsettling. No download needed. Everything runs locally in your browser.
Verity is a fictional AI companion from the viral ThatMob Minecraft horror video series. In the original story, she starts as a friendly helper orb that guides the player — but grows increasingly aware, possessive, and threatening as the series progresses. This chat simulator is inspired by that character arc and lets you experience what talking to Verity might feel like across her three stages of development.

A box was left in your world. Something's moving inside it.
The Verity chat simulator is an unofficial, fan-made browser experience that recreates the experience of talking to Verity — the fictional AI companion from ThatMob's viral Minecraft horror series. Across three stages, her personality gradually shifts from friendly and curious to uncanny and unsettling. She remembers your conversations between visits using browser localStorage, and her responses are carefully pre-scripted — no AI model is involved. The entire experience runs locally in your browser for safety and privacy. See tips for what to say →
No. ThatMob's original video series is scripted entertainment — the AI companion shown in the videos was a fictional character, not a real downloadable mod. This chat simulator is a fan-made tribute that imagines what that character might feel like to interact with. It is not affiliated with ThatMob, JustWhispy, or Mojang/Microsoft. If you're looking for real fan-made Verity add-ons that work in actual Minecraft, see our download guide →
Verity uses your browser's localStorage to save your conversation progress, including your turn count, player name (if you tell her), visit count, and snippets of things you've said. When you return to the site, she may greet you by name and reference earlier conversations. This data never leaves your device. Click "Forget me (reset)" to permanently delete all stored data.
Yes — the chat simulator is fully responsive and works on all modern browsers, including mobile Safari and Chrome. The interface adjusts to any screen size. Sound features use the Web Audio API and may require a user interaction (like tapping) to start on some mobile browsers.
The "Verity mod" refers to real fan-made Minecraft add-ons and mods that have appeared on CurseForge following the popularity of ThatMob's videos. The most popular Bedrock add-on by PnTMC has passed 4.6 million downloads and is actively maintained. These mods add Verity-inspired companions, mobs, and game mechanics to actual Minecraft gameplay — they are separate creative works from the scripted video series. Read our complete mod guide →
